Thrift Store Art Gallery

I acquired five paintings by Romeo Taylor on June 17, 2002 at a nearby thrift store. On one painting, he signs himself with his full name. This one he signed as Romeo Taylor; it is the largest canvas of the set. A high level of detail, metaphysical themes, and racial identity infuse his work. The feathering at the tips of the angel's wings is finely rendered. Sadly enough, the proprietors of the store knew nothing about the artist; they had acquired his work at an auction.
