Thrift Store Art Gallery

It's my theory that the larger the painting, the cheaper it is, because the thrift store just wants it out of the way. This rule certainly applied to this painting, which is very lagre. This painting seems unfinished, because the face is not filled in...but it could have metaphysical meaning as the Universal Mother, with her wide hips and multicolored apron. This apron could also symbolize an interior view of her womb filled with a colorful variety of living matter.
